Mad as Hell: I - Switching to Mac, from Winn Schwartau at Security Awareness for Ma, Pa and the Corporate Clueless, which may well prove worth keeping an eye on even without the mac story. Anyways, basically this is an IT security professional who has got so fed up with Windows/Intel that he has switched to a mac. He's going to diarise his experiences over the coming weeks, so it will be interesting to see how he gets on.
Makes perfect sense to me, although I have to say that I have had a couple of quirks in OS X 10.4.1 that I've yet to get to the bottom of (principally with .Mac sync and some very strange network problems featuring iPhoto, a PowerMac and a cable modem). Still, these troubles are nowhere near bad enough to send me back to winblows......

Firefox 1.04 is out, and addresses a couple of vulnerabilities.

Apple's zero-configuration networking (previously known as Rendezvous) is now known as "Bonjour" and is available for Windows.
I'm not sure if this is a good thing or not.
