VideoLAN - and the issue of software patents. This is just getting out of hand now. If you understand the problems with software patents, please contact your EU representative and tell them what a bad idea they are.
If you don't understand why software patents are bad, I suggest you do some preliminary reading and consider signing the EuroLinux petition as well.
