Barney's blog. Just a load of old shite really.

You know how sometimes you'll be watching TV, and something will grab your attention? Just for a few seconds as you hop between channels maybe, or as you come back in to the room at the end of an advert break. Anyway, that happened to me, and I grabbed a scrap of paper and scrawled down the title of a short film: "There Was a Man". All I could tell was that it was a bit dark, and featured Jessica Stevenson, who is Daisy in Spaced. Yesterday, I was sorting through a mound of paper on my desk, and found the note, and have now found the film at BBC - Talent - New Film Makers Award, BBC Three; it was the winner. Weird, disturbing, dark and stylish.
