Barney's blog. Just a load of old shite really.

The Black Crowes are having a break. Lead singer Chris Robinson has created a new band called New Earth Mud, in which he has moved on.
He seems to have slowed down and grown up a bit since the Crowes, which will be a shame if the Crowes never return as I loved that raucous, loud, early Crowes stuff.
New Earth Mud is cool though, with that "tight but loose" thing still very much present, albeit in a calmer and more reflective style. There's a proper review here, but I think I will be asking for this one for Christmas.....
