Barney's blog. Just a load of old shite really.

New Scientist.com - The World's No. 1 Science and Technology News Service.
Written by Professor Brainstorm and his army of crackpot superminds, this is titillating science theory. Witness such articles as "Acidic clouds of Venus could harbour life" or "Earth's magnetic field 'boosts gravity'".
I love the format of these articles: here's one I wrote earlier:

Webbed feet may be caused by Black Holes
A leading scientist in the field of follicular strumpeting has presented a theory that webbed feet are related to proximity to the super-dense matter at the centre of a black hole.
"If the mother is facing a black hole with a proximity of less than 500 gazillion light years at the moment of conception, positronic antimatter radiation can penetrate the fallopian tubes causing webbed feet in the infant foetus via flatulent transmogrification. Fortunately, this is only possible in February due to shielding provided my the gravitron field around the moon during the rest of the year."
A real scientist from NASA's Astrobiology Institute is sceptical - "We cannot reliably correlate the webbed feet syndrome with black holes at this time. It's complete codswallop. However, webbed feet are a bit weird, and make some people feel a bit sick. How they are caused is certainly a mystery."

See? - easy. I could be a scientific writer any day of the week......
